Want to Win UNC-Duke Basketball Tickets? Eat Sort Win is Back!

Carolina Dining Services’ Eat Sort Win campaign is back! Eat Sort Win is a composting and recycling education campaign with the goal of decreasing contamination in our waste streams. The campaign runs from October 9th-November 17th, 2023, and includes two parts: a social media sweepstakes contest for three pairs of basketball tickets (including DUKE!), and the Green Guide program!
Throughout the sweepstakes period, we will post weekly on our social media accounts to share tips about composting and recycling on campus with the hashtag #EatSortWinUNC. By engaging with our posts, you get entered to win a pair of men’s basketball tickets to see the Tarheels play Miami, NC State, or… our Grand Prize of UNC-Duke tickets! Read below or check out the Official Rules on how to enter the sweepstakes.
We will also have Green Guide shifts throughout the Eat Sort Win campaign! Green Guides are volunteers who teach the UNC-Chapel Hill community how to properly sort their waste between the compost, recycling, and landfill bins in Lenoir Mainstreet and Beach Cafe. This program helps to reduce contamination rates in our composting and recycling bins so that we can continue to divert waste from the landfills.
We are always looking for more Green Guides, and you can sign up through this page if you’re interested in joining the team! Once you fill out the form, you will receive a link with upcoming shift dates that you can sign up for. Shifts are an hour long, from 12-1 pm or 1-2 pm, and volunteers receive a free t-shirt plus a residential meal voucher for each shift they work!
