Earth Month Bingo
April 22nd is Earth Day, but we think one day isn’t enough to celebrate our planet! That’s why we’re doing an Earth Month bingo sweepstakes during April to encourage our campus community to get engaged with various sustainability events and initiatives around campus. If you get BINGO, you get entered to win one of five sustainable prizes!! Read over the details below for how to participate.
How to Enter:
- Read over the Bingo Card, and check out this spreadsheet for full details on the activities and how to participate.
- Participate in activities until you get bingo!* To count as bingo, you need 5 boxes checked off in a line, diagonally, or all four corners. Don’t forget to take pictures of you doing the activities – you will need these for your submission!
- Email a list of your completed activities and at least four supporting photos with the subject line “Earth Month Bingo Submission – Name” to our Sustainability Manager, Victoria Hill, at vlhill@ad.unc.edu by Friday, April 25th at noon.
* For activity E1, we’ll have the bingo icons added to our website by 4/4!

Prizes:
Five random participants will be selected to win one of the following items:
- Set of reusable Stasher silicone bags
- Kitchen top hydroponics system
- Roll of reusable cloth towels
- Rocketbook reusable notebook
- Set of beeswax wraps
Nitty Gritty:
- To count as bingo, you need 5 boxes checked off in a line, diagonally, or all four corners.
- At least four supporting photos are required for a valid entry. See the table for examples! If multiple participants submit the exact same photos, they will both be disqualified.
- Entries must be submitted by April 25th at noon.
- Up to three submissions per participant are allowed if you make bingo multiple times!
- Winning participants will be contacted by April 28th, and will have 48 hours to confirm their acceptance of the prize via email. They can then pick up their prizes at the Sustainability Office in Lenoir during business hours between April 29th-May 10th.
- If you do not want your photos shared on our social media page for the event, you can still participate! Just make sure to let us know in your submission email.
