Chef Mike Station Takeover

Originally from Terryville, Connecticut, Chef Mike Mastracchio’s career in the culinary field began when he received his Bachelor of Professional Studies in Culinary Arts Management from the Culinary Institute of America in 2014. Prior to joining Carolina Dining Services, Chef Mike spent most of his time as a Chef and Clubhouse manager at private golf and yacht clubs– delivering high quality food and service to patrons. His culinary journey continued to Sodexo before joining Aramark as a Regional Operations Support Manager. Chef Mike joined the CDS team at UNC Chapel Hill in April 2024 where he serves as our Purchasing Chef Manager. We are thankful to have Chef Mike’s talent on the team.
