Recognized for our Local Creamy Carolina Rice Grit Bowl featuring foods farmed and produced throughout North Carolina. In this recipe, there were a total of seven local ingredients used and it was served as a meal during one of our farmers markets.

Menu Masters Award: Best Healthful Menu Innovation, 2022

Chef Michael Gueiss was presented with this award following the creation of his Low Waste Grain Bowl where he used ingredients that otherwise would have been wasted such as watermelon rinds, celery leaves and carrot tops.
